Hope

Today's lead Scripture is from Jeremiah 29:11 (NIrV)

"I know the plans I have for you," announces the LORD. "I want you to enjoy success. I do not plan to harm you. I will give you hope for the years to come."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Do you know that God has good plans for your life? Often times, when one feels discouraged or sad, it may be hard to know if God has good plans for their life because they are unable to see the plans with their physical eyes but this does not mean that they do not exist.

Yesterday, we looked at God and how He is so powerful and mighty, literally nothing can stop Him when He decides to do something because He is Creator of the heavens and the earth. So today, when things may not go as planned, be reminded that God is planning something big for you. Just like sometimes, when Mummy is preparing a big lunch, the wait may seem long because you are hungry and cannot see the food. But soon enough, that lunch comes out of the kitchen and is put on the dining table and ready to be served. Before you know it, you are enjoying how delicious the food is and by the time it is done, you may not remember how long you waited for it. So just like this example with Mom, God is planning for your future as well where you will enjoy good success and hope for many years to come.

Prayer: Father God, thank you that You have good plans for my life, plans for me to enjoy my future, to have hope and good success for the years to come in the name of Jesus. When I do not have all the answers or cannot see your plans for me, give me understanding and help me to continue trusting in You because You are good and You do not plan to harm me. I give you all the honour and the praise for everything You are doing in my life in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
