Blessed Sunday

Praise the LORD family. Father God, thank you for this new day that You have given to us, a day filled with Your love, favor, protection and goodness surrounding us in the name of Jesus, Amen. We give you all the glory and praise LORD God, Creator of heaven and earth. May Your Majestic name be glorified all over the ends of the earth in the name of Jesus, Amen.

The Word I have on my heart is about love because God is love (1 John 4:8). Love is something that you do. When you think about God's love? What is the first thing that comes to mind? - The answer is Jesus. Jesus, the Beloved of God is the reason we know that God is love. When God sent Jesus to die for our sins, that showed us He loved us. Can you imagine that Jesus died for your sins before you were ever born? Jesus died for our sins before we have knew about sin all because He loved us and wanted us to have eternal life. Now John 17:3 gives us the meaning of eternal life. Eternal life is knowing God, the Father and His Son that He has sent. Jesus in John 14:6 says, He is the Way, the truth and the Life and no one can come to the Father except through Him. When you receive Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, you are saved from your sins and receive a personal relationship where God becomes your Father just like He is a Father to Jesus. This shows us that Jesus is the way to God because Acts 4:12 NLT says, "There is salvation in no one else! God has given no other name under heaven by which we must be saved." - AMEN.

Invitation to salvation: As children of God, we are only able to eat the bread of life when we have a personal relationship to know Jesus, the Son of God. This is because Jesus died for our sins and gives eternal life and by His stripes we were healed. When we receive Jesus Christ, God draws our hearts to His heart to enable us spend time with Him.

If this sounds like you, please say this prayer with me;

"Thank you Father God for sending Your One and Only Beloved Son Jesus Christ who died for my sins on the cross and who was raised from the dead so that I could have Life. I receive Him today as Lord and Saviour of my life in the name of Jesus, Amen."

Prayer: Father God, thank you for salvation and redemption that we have freely received from Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of our lives. Thank you LORD for each child and family member that just said this prayer and received Jesus into their hearts. Thank you LORD God that You are keeping them this day and forever and nothing will snatch them out of Your loving hands in the name of Jesus, Amen.
