God is able

Today's devotional is titled "God is able". God's mighty power is able and desires to turn everything around especially the things that do not look too good in your life.

In the gospels found in the Bible, is a story of a man who comes to Jesus for healing. This man had a disease called leprosy which did not have a cure. The people who got sick of this disease are called lepers. When someone was a leper, they were isolated from everyone because they did not want the disease to spread. So when this leper came to Jesus, he said to Him, "Lord, if you are willing, You can make me clean." (Matthew 8:2). Jesus did something that people never used to do which is He touched the leper and said, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed." (Matthew 8:3). Jesus is just as kind today as He was then when He willingly healed the leper who nobody could help. God cares about you so much and because He loves you, He willingly takes care of you and everything that concerns you. AMEN.

Prayer: Father God, I join my faith with every child and family reading this devotional and we thank you that with you God, all things are possible because as the Creator of heaven and earth, You are more than able to take care and meet all of our needs. Thank you God because Jesus reminds us of Your kindness, willingness and Your ability to help us at all times. We thank you that any child feeling sick is healed right now in the name of Jesus and every mountain of impossibility that was standing in the way of Your children's promises concerning their lives and well being is permanently removed by Your mighty power God in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
