God is good

Today's Scripture reading is from Exodus 34:6 (NKJV)

"And the LORD passed before him and proclaimed, "The LORD, the LORD God, merciful and gracious, long suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth,"

Amen, thank you LORD.

Do you know that God is good, not only sometimes but all the time! Todays' devotional is about the goodness of God. Often times, it is easy for people to be good and kind to you when you are doing things that they like but thankfully God is good to us and His goodness to us is not based on whether we do bad or good. God is good to us because goodness is a part of God's nature as seen in the above Scripture reading.

So when you make a mistake, it is ok to feel bad but remember God is good and He loves you. So come to the LORD God in prayer and tell Him what is on your heart. God's mercy and goodness will not fail concerning His children. AMEN

Let us pray: Father God, we thank you that You are good, and Your goodness is who You are which means you don't change your mind concerning us even when we make mistakes. Thank you for being merciful and patient with us and may we always be surrounded with Your goodness in every season and walk in obedience to Your Word all the days of our lives in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD God.
