God is love

1 John 4:16 (NIrV)

"So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them."

Amen, thank you LORD.

The above Word reminds us that not only does God love you and I but God is love. This means that God's love is not only limited to the amazing things He does for us but love is who God is. Since love is who God is, it also means that God will love us on days we make mistakes and on days when do not make mistakes. God does not change His mind about loving us. This is the reason we can depend and trust in God's love for us. When you recognize you have made a mistake, do not shy away from praying to God because you think that He is angry with you. Instead draw near to God's presence in prayer and ask Him to forgive you. This will help you to receive more of God's love for you without feeling bad about yourself. God loves you too much and His love for you does not want you feeling bad about yourself. AMEN! So now go and show love to people the same way God has shown love to you.
