God is my strength

Father God, we thank you for the gift of a new day. May You continue to guide us and give us understanding as we read today's Word in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP)

"The LORD God is my strength [my source of courage and my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds' feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]... "

Amen, thank you LORD.

Today's devotion is reminding us that God is our strength. Sometimes, it may be easy to look to yourself and wonder how you are going to do everything but today is a reminder that God is your strength.

For example; maybe school is busy and you feel like you have back to back tests and assignments. It may seem a lot which it is. However, have you considered that with God on my side, it means He has given me the strength I need so I can move forward in confidence.

When God gives you the strength, remember that He will also give you everything that you may need for that particular task. Take for instance; the above example with school, God will provide the supplies, the resources, the friends you may need to study with or whatever it is that you may need to be able to successfully pass that test or assignment. As you go forward and continue in your tasks, God will provide with His strength. AMEN!

Let us pray together: Father God, thank you that I do not have to lean on my strength to do anything. May You LORD God always remind me that You are my strength. Thank you LORD God that You are my source of courage and invincible army, I am never alone. Thank you for making my feet steady and sure like hinds feet and making me walk foward with spiritual confidence on every high place of challenge and responsibility in the name of Jesus. Thank you LORD God for keeping me focused in all that I do without any distractions. Thank you LORD for good success and for blessing all the works of my hands in the name of Jesus. Thank you LORD that as I continue to go forward with my tasks, You continue to provide me with abundant strength to do all that is required of me in the name of Jesus. We come in agreement and give You all the honour and praise LORD God. May Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven concerning our lives in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD God.
