God, my comforter
Today's Word is from Isaiah 51:12 (NIrV)
"The LORD says to his people, "I comfort you because of who I am. Why are you afraid of mere human beings? They are like grass that dries up."
Amen, thank you LORD.
God is reminding you that He is the one who comforts you. Is there anyone or anything that makes you feel afraid? God is reminding you that He has the power to make it go away. Another word for comforting is making strong. This means that God makes you strong. As a result, no person should make you scared because God says He is the only one with power that can make every bad go away.
In the above Bible verse, the LORD God says, human beings are like grass that dries up so why should they make you a child of God afraid? When God makes you strong, He also gives you His confidence and protection. Remember God is always watching over you, in everything and everywhere you go. Amen.
Let us pray: Father God, thank you that Your children are comforted and made strong in You in the name of Jesus. Thank you LORD for watching over them and protecting them. Thank you that nothing makes them afraid because their confidence and trust is in You in the name of Jesus, Thank you that fear has no place in their lives because they are children born out of Your love. I cover each child in the precious blood of Jesus Christ where every power of the enemy is permanently broken off of their lives in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
