God remembers you
Updated: Jul 12
Father God, thank you for this new day. This is the day that the LORD has made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. Please give us understanding as we read today's Word in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Today's Word is from Isaiah 49:15 (NIrV)
"The LORD answers, "Can a mother forget the baby who is nursing at her breast? Can she stop having tender love for the child who was born to her? She might forget her child. But I will not forget you."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Today God is saying He knows and loves you just like a mother loves her baby. God not only loves and knows us but He also says, He keeps us in His thoughts where He is constantly thinking about you because that is how important you are to God. In the book of Genesis is a story of a man called Noah. Noah was a good man and all his ways pleased God. However, one day God tells Noah to build a big boat where he would keep his family and the animals and birds that God created because He was going to send a big flood. You see people were always doing bad things which made God's heart sad (Genesis 6:6). But since Noah was a good man who feared God in all of his ways (Genesis 6:9), God kept him and his family safe from the flood. However, when Noah was building the big boat (also known as the ark), people laughed at him because God took many years without sending the rain. It could have been easy for Noah to wonder if God had forgotten His promise, but Noah continued building the ark with patience trusting God to keep His Word. At the right time, it rained for many days and just like God had promised, Noah and his family, the animals and birds were kept safe from the flood waters (Genesis 7:23-24).
Let's pray: Father God, thank that You always keep me on your mind, just because something is taking long does not mean that You changed Your mind or that You are no longer working behind the scenes to favor me. I ask that You continue to give me more patience because you have good plans for me and You will not forget me in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to have a personal relationship with God as your Father and His Son Jesus who died for our sins and receive eternal life - which means you get to be with God in heaven all your life, please say this prayer below:
"Thank you Father God for sending Jesus, Your One and Only Son to die for my sins. I receive Him today and forever as Lord and Saviour of my life in the name of Jesus, Amen."
