Good relations

Father God, we thank you for this is the day that You have made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. We ask for understanding as we read the Word in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Today's post is about our behavior when we do something wrong to our parents, siblings and friends. The first thing when you do make a mistake against your friend would be to go to God in prayer and ask Him to forgive you. After you ask God to forgive you, it is also good to ask the person whom you did the wrong to forgive you. If this person is happy you did so, that is good meaning you can now have good relations again. However, if the person is still angry even after you say sorry for your mistake, there is no need to worry. It just means the person may need some time so give them some space while you continue to keep them in prayer. In the meantime, continue to treat them well and be kind to them while you wait for God to make their hearts soft to your apology.

At the same time, the Bible also encourages us to forgive people who do bad and mean things to us. The reason God encourgaes us to forgive is because He also forgives us when we make mistakes. So God wants us to be able to share that love and kindness with other people as well by forgiving them when they do wrong to us.

Matthew 6:14 NIrV

"Forgive other people when they sin against you. If you do, your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you. "

Prayer: Father God, thank you for all that you are LORD and even right now we continue to thank you for sending Jesus. Because of Jesus, our sins are forgiven. Thank you Father God that You have given us the ability to be quick to forgive and quick to repent of our mistakes as we continue to be in Your presence of love in the name of Jesus, Amen.
