Psalm 121:4-5 (NKJV)

  1. "Behold, He who keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

  2. The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand."


Amen, thank you LORD.


Is there a situation that you think of that sometimes causes you to worry or to have fear? Today's devotional is a reminder that the LORD God is our Keeper. God is saying because He loves you so much, He does not sleep nor slumber because He is watching over you. Now in case you are wondering, slumber means a deep sleep. Basically, the LORD does not have sleep yet alone fall into a deep sleep because He has to watch over you. Not only does He watch over you but He also keeps everything about your life safely with Him by providing you with His shade at your right hand, amen.


Prayer: LORD God thank you that You watch over me and every detail of my life in the name of Jesus. Thank you LORD God that the same way You keep Israel and never slumber nor sleep is the same way You keep me as well. Thank you LORD that because You are my Keeper and the shade at my right hand, I will not be afraid for every fear and doubt is removed and I rest in Your peace, joy and the embrace of Your perfect love for me in the name of Jesus, amen. Thank you LORD.


Invitation to salvation: As children of God, we are only able to eat the bread of life when we have a personal relationship to know Jesus, the Son of God. This is because Jesus died for our sins and gives eternal life and by His stripes we were healed. When we receive Jesus Christ, God draws our hearts to His heart to enable us spend time with Him.

If this sounds like you, please say this prayer with me;

"Thank you Father God for sending Your One and Only Beloved Son Jesus Christ who died for my sins on the cross and who was raised from the dead so that I could have Life. I receive Him today as Lord and Saviour of my life in the name of Jesus, Amen."


Prayer: Father God, thank you for each child and family member that just said this prayer and received Jesus into their hearts. Thank you LORD God that You are keeping them this day and forever and nothing will snatch them out of Your loving hands in the name of Jesus, Amen.
